An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Static Stress Engineer to join the Wing Analysis Engineering team at Filton. Are you passionate about Wing analysis and design? Are you interested in developing Wing structures? We are a team of Structural Engineers who are a mixture of technical specialists and engineering leads who are all passionate about finding technical solutions to support AIRBUS products, specifically Wings.


HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM



You will be responsible for the technical scope of projects, providing guidance to Static Stress Engineers and suppliers, liaising with the Chief Engineers, Static Stress Seniors, Principals and the Technical Authorities. You will lead the resolution of static stress analysis problems through the use of appropriate methods and tools. You will support the generation of Aircraft structures that are innovative and offer benefits to existing products and new incremental development. You will prepare the future product family. You will contribute to engineering solutions and ways of working born from experience in aerospace and other other industries. You will support the development of team members.

ABOUT YOU



You will hold or be very close to approval delegated signatory for Static Stress analysis. You bring experience and know-how of structures engineering and analytical techniques. You will have a good knowledge of overall aircraft structural design principles and techniques.
