Lead Activity Support Worker

to oversee our vibrant, nature-focused programme at our

purpose-built outdoor lodge in Chester

.

You'll lead a team delivering

creative, therapeutic activities

- from art, music and sports to woodland play and adventure - for children and young people with

Autism, Learning Disabilities, PTSD and mental health needs

.

Your Role as Lead Activity Support Worker

Coordinate and lead

structured outdoor activities that promote well-being and development

Support and coach a small team

of Activity Support Workers Champion

person-centred care

in an inclusive, nature-based setting Work closely with individuals with Autism, ADHD, PTSD and Learning Disabilities Ensure activities are recorded accurately and safeguarding protocols are followed Bring

creativity, consistency, and compassion

to your daily leadership

What You'll Need

A qualification or experience in

outdoor education, arts, sports, music, or recreational therapy

Previous

team leadership experience

(formal or informal) Experience in care (Autism, Learning Disabilities, or Mental Health) - desirable, not essential Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to train) A genuine passion for the outdoors and

active, creative engagement

Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a natural ability to motivate others Full commitment to

safeguarding and high-quality support
