The Role


As a

Lead Support Worker

, you'll play a key part in shaping daily life in the home. You will:

Be a consistent role model for young people, showing empathy, patience, and understanding. Lead shifts, guiding the team to keep children's needs and voices at the centre of everything we do. Support young people to enjoy everyday experiences - school, hobbies, family time, and celebrating achievements big and small. Encourage independence, choice, and resilience, while providing support through challenges. Ensure records and plans reflect each young person's journey, wishes, and progress. Work alongside colleagues, families, and professionals to secure the best outcomes for every child.

About You


We're looking for someone who:

Believes every young person deserves safe, nurturing, and person-centred care. Has at least 2 years' experience in a children's residential care setting. Holds a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential. Can lead and inspire a team with warmth, fairness, and positivity. Brings resilience and creativity to problem-solving. Holds a full UK driving licence.

Pay: 13.60-14.65 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
