About the Role
As Lead Therapist, you will:
Manage, support, and supervise the therapy team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based treatment.
Lead by example in providing 1:1 and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and the 12-Step model.
Ensure therapy provision aligns with CQC standards and UKAT's therapeutic model.
Oversee care planning, treatment pathways, and discharge processes.
Play a key role in audits, compliance, and continuous service improvement.
Foster a positive, safe, and recovery-focused environment for both clients and staff.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Qualified to diploma level 4+/degree level in counselling, psychotherapy, or a related discipline.
A registered member of BACP/UKCP/NCPS (or equivalent).
Experienced in addiction therapy, ideally within residential or structured treatment services
Knowledge of the 12-Step recovery model (preferred)
Confident in supervising, mentoring, and leading a clinical team.
Passionate about delivering the highest standards of therapeutic care.
What We Offer
Competitive salary: 31,500 - 32,500 (depending on experience).
