Soho Farmhouse...
Surrounded by 100 acres of Oxfordshire countryside, Soho Farmhouse is a destination for food and drink, wellness and outdoor activities. Two hours' drive or a short train from London, we have 114 bedrooms, including cabins, huts and farmhouse bedrooms to stay in, a state-of-the-art gym, Cowshed Spa, an indoor and outdoor pool and cinema. We have multiple food and beverage outlets on site, The Main Barn is the central hub, serving the club menu all day. On the mezzanine, Comfy Farm has sofas and an open fire place, while Fancy Farm is a more formal setting for lunch or dinner. The Role...
We are seeking an experienced
Lead Therapist
to join our team at
Soho Farmhouse

Introduce Beauty Therapists to the philosophy of Cowshed in line with Soho House & Co
Conduct detailed retail training on Cowshed and any new products
Educating Therapists to the highest standard to ensure that they gain a full understanding of our products and treatments
Adapting training techniques to accommodate different learning styles
Ensure training audits are accurately completed for all training
Hold ongoing training with the team to ensure that the client receives the highest standard of spa treatment
Adhering to lesson plans as set out by Spa Manager with efficiency whilst ensuring therapists have an excellent grasp on training content
Motivating attendees to transfer learning into improved in-salon performance
To have a complete knowledge of Cowshed sites local area so that client's and new starting employees can be directed or advised with confidence
Propose all Cowshed Professional orders to ensure the spa is always stocked to provide treatments.
Responsible for quarterly professional stocktakes, to submit these to management and ensure stock is tightly controlled
To ensure that clients are comfortable and at ease with the facilities that the spa offers and relay any feedback to the Management team
Create and propose new treatment offerings to management to keep up with client request and demand
What we are looking for in a Lead Therapist...
Strong interpersonal skills
Customer / member experience focused
Passionate about the industry and performing spa treatments.
Minimum of 3-4 years' experience as a beauty therapist
Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
Sense of urgency
Yes, yes, yes mentality
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required
Required Skills/Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 or equivalent industry related qualifications
Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to multitask and excel in a high-volume and demanding fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.
Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
Expected working hours for a Lead Therapist:
Varying shift times across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens & closes
Average hours 32-45 hours per week
