Summary

We are seeking a dedicated lead or trainee lead Early Years Practitioner to join our team in Bath. This vital role involves working alongside the Moorlands Early Years Teams ensuring the delivery of exceptional early childhood education, and supporting our commitment to inclusive practices. The position is based in Bath and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate nursery staff to deliver high standards of care and education. Oversee daily nursery operations ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Support children with diverse needs by implementing inclusive practices. Develop and implement engaging learning activities tailored to children's developmental stages. Foster strong relationships with parents, carers, and community partners. Maintain accurate records of children's progress. Promote a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for all children. Contribute to the ongoing development of nursery policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience in early childhood education. Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support staff development. Knowledge of inclusive practices for children with special educational needs. Valid driving license is desirable but not essential. Level three qualification in childcare or early years education.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 26,557.00-31,093.00 per year

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
