Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing honest recommendations. Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during service and food preparation. Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining a tidy dining area throughout shifts. Provide attentive guest service by checking on diners regularly and responding promptly to requests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues efficiently. Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments in accordance with company procedures. Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, including food safety protocols.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members. Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques preferred. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods. Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly, professional demeanour with a passion for delivering excellent guest service. Pay: 12.21-18.00 per hour
