We are currently seeking a confident, service-oriented

Lead Waiter

to join our Food & Beverage team. This key role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the dining experience by guiding the front-of-house service team, upholding service standards, and delivering exceptional hospitality to our guests. As Lead Waiter, you will serve as a role model on the floor--demonstrating excellence in guest service, training new staff on proper service techniques, and resolving any guest concerns with professionalism and poise. You will help oversee daily service operations across one or more outlets, ensuring a seamless and memorable guest experience.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES




Lead and support the waitstaff team during service, ensuring high standards are consistently maintained. Train and mentor new waitstaff in service protocols, menu knowledge, and POS system usage. Address guest concerns or complaints promptly, using sound judgment and conflict resolution skills. Maintain deep knowledge of menu offerings, wine pairings, and beverage options to guide guest selections. Oversee setup, breakdown, cleanliness, and readiness of assigned outlet or section. Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless coordination during service. Operate POS systems (e.g., Micros) efficiently, including handling transactions and self-cashiering when needed.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS




Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Food & Beverage Server or 1 year as a Lead Waiter in a fine dining or luxury hotel restaurant setting. Strong understanding of food and beverage service, with a passion for hospitality and attention to detail. Proficient in POS systems (Micros or similar); self-cashiering experience preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism. Vast knowledge of wines and beverage pairings is a strong asset.
