An elite international law firm, with a global footprint and cross-border capabilities, is seeking a UK-qualified junior associate to join its Financial Services Regulatory team in London.
This is a rare opportunity to work within a practice that advises some of the world's most prominent financial institutions, fintech innovators, and trade associations on the full spectrum of regulatory challenges-from compliance and governance to enforcement and investigations.
This Firm has deep experience in multi-jurisdictional investigations and enforcement actions involving financial crime, market abuse, and governance reviews. They advise clients across banking, asset management, broker-dealer services, payments, and securities lending.
Advise given includes regulatory change, financial promotions, and custody of client assets and they have deep knowledge of the inner workings of key regulatory bodies, including the FCA and PRA.
Members of the team on a day to day level will advise clients on UK and EU financial regulatory frameworks, assist in preparing responses to regulatory inquiries and enforcement actions, draft and review documentation related to financial promotions, client asset rules, and conduct of business and monitor regulatory developments and contribute to internal and client-facing thought leadership.
Our client is looking for someone who is a UK-qualified solicitor with 1-3 years PQE in financial services regulation and with a full right to work in the UK. This experience needs to have been gained at a leading law firm or regulatory body. They should have a strong understanding of the FCA Handbook, FSMA, and broader UK/EU regulatory landscape and excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
