to take a senior role in the planning, design, and delivery of water engineering projects. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, oversee project teams, and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance are achieved across all work streams.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
Lead, supervise, and develop a team of field engineers to maximize all aspects of work, including profitability, quality, and customer service.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with the office team to function as a conduit between field staff and office personnel.
Business Growth:
Identify and support business growth opportunities.
Communication:
Ensure all field staff are kept up to date with business objectives and organisational goals.
Main Duties
Oversee site work, supervise field staff, and manage projects
Manage, supervise, and maintain technical standards across all works
Support and enhance relationships with field engineers and the office team
Develop supplier relationships to ensure value for money
Develop detailed quotes and use CRM for recording and sending to clients
Identify engineers' skills gaps and work with Operations Manager to support
Ensure all works comply with relevant company ISO standards.
Design, write and maintain O&M manuals for business
and customers.
Identify and develop business opportunities within the department
Manage project designs and update existing projects as needed.
Ensure all required work is signed off and certificates issued to required standards.
Ensure all field engineers adhere to relevant H&S standards and have access to specific RAMS for work stored on the CRM
Maintain and ensure all technical data sheets are up to date.
Attend quarterly finance meetings and participate in discussions to ensure the department meets financial objectives.
Liaise with the office team to review job instructions and schedules.
Visit sites and attend client meetings to develop business opportunities and enhance customer relationships.
Work with the Electrical Engineer to ensure NAPIT compliance and renewal.
Assist in resolving customer disputes and concerns.
Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting support for the office team, field engineers, and customers etc.
Collaborate with the wider department to improve efficiency and support the achievement of departmental and company goals.
Experience & Qualifications Required
Relevant industry experience
Experience in the design of water systems
Hold a CSCS card
SMSTS (desirable)
Understanding of CRM databases
Driving Licence
Applicable knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics
Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills

Pay: 37,000.00-44,000.00 per year
