We are seeking a proactive and organised

Training Coordinator

to support our continuous improvement initiatives in a

Lean Manufacturing

environment.

The ideal candidate will develop, coordinate, and manage training programs that enhance employee skills, improve process efficiency, and support a culture of Lean thinking. This role is critical to ensuring that employees at all levels are properly trained in Lean principles, standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and job-specific skills.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop, implement, and manage training programs aligned with Lean Manufacturing principles and company goals. Coordinate onboarding and job-specific training for new employees, ensuring rapid integration into production teams. Partner with department leads, and CI teams to identify training needs and skill gaps. Organise and facilitate Lean training workshops (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, SMED, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping). Maintain and update training materials, manuals, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance. Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, observations, and feedback. Support cross-training and job rotation programs to increase workforce flexibility. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory training requirements. Maintain a training matrix and track completion and certification status across departments. Assist in the implementation and tracking of continuous improvement initiatives related to employee development.

Ideal Person:



Lean Six Sigma Black Belt 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; Lean Manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of Lean tools and concepts (5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, etc.). Experience in training coordination, instructional design, or facilitation. Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and employees at all levels.

Working Conditions:



Split between office and production floor environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 50,000.00 per year
