Job Description


The Learner Engagement Officer will be joining a growing team of business development and learner engagement personnel. This role will actively lead on our learner engagement efforts and commitments across our UKSPF Multiply contracts, specifically across West Sussex. The role will involve being a sole point of contact for learner recruitment and engagement across our West Sussex region. Through effective recruitment of learners, you will develop stakeholder relations with referral partners, and utilise a range of targeted strategies to engage young people and adults, signposting and signing them up for one of several Muliply \'Maths\' interventions and programmes, as well as progression on to apprenticeships. You will be responsible for all learner flow, ensuring courses are filled and candidates are provided with excellent information, advice and guidance regarding our education and training services and their programmes of choice. Working collaboratively within team generate, as well as between departments, you will provide effective communication and promotion of new initiatives, signposting to relevant referral organisations and prospective learners. You will be responsible for carrying our compliance activity to ensure a right first time approach to administration and compliance, supporting learners to complete mandatory screening information. You will be learner centric, taking pride in knowing that learners are on programmes specific to their interests and career aspirations, which will accelerate their development and progression. Roles and Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Recruitment and engagement of learners, predominantly on UKSPF Multiply programmes, but as well a range of other government funded training programmes, such as apprenticeships. \xc2\xb7 Preparing and presenting Open Days, Virtual Workshops and Information Sessions. \xc2\xb7 Attending Job Centres, Careers Fairs and other external events on a regular basis. \xc2\xb7 Completion of learner pre-enrolments and enrolment paperwork. \xc2\xb7 Providing excellent IAG to customers and clients. \xc2\xb7 Acting as the leading figure when communicating with prospective learners, parents and third party organisations (including YEI contract holders, JCPs). \xc2\xb7 Strong and effective communication with third parties on new programmes, initiatives and courses, including distribution of appropriate marketing collateral where necessary. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication across the group, especially the administration teams and departments to ensure effective enrolments and course profiling. \xc2\xb7 Supporting learners in ensuring compliance paperwork is completed with minimal errors through effective liaising with both learners and the admin team. \xc2\xb7 Building relationships with referral partners and agencies across the UK. Experience and established relationships with referral organisations across the South East would be advantageous. \xc2\xb7 Maintain appropriate database of learner information, including trackers and spreadsheets, to ensure contractual obligations are met and internal KPIs are achieved. \xc2\xb7 Enhancing the learner journey through effective on-programme communication and check ins, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. \xc2\xb7 Process learner documentation to meet contractual deadlines. \xc2\xb7 Producing reports for management and heads of department on a weekly and monthly basis to assess performance against targets. \xc2\xb7 Support with timely and accurate processing of claims, completing first line checks before submission.
