Job Purpose



The Learner Recruitment Officer will play a vital role in enrolling learners onto our training programmes by managing outreach, learner engagement, and enrolment processes. You will combine your recruitment experience with digital marketing expertise to ensure targeted, inclusive campaigns that attract high-quality learners. This role is essential in supporting LEAD's learner recruitment KPIs, employer engagement strategy, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Independently recruit learners to ensure timely and full enrolment across all courses and digital programmes. Utilise a range of digital marketing platforms and techniques such as Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and email marketing to generate and convert high-quality leads. Conduct timely and professional outbound and inbound phone calls to prospective learners to provide information, skills scan, answer queries, and guide them through the enrolment process. Design, manage, and continuously optimise recruitment funnels, landing pages, and automated email workflows to maximise enrolment outcomes. Produce compelling marketing assets such as course flyers, promotional videos, newsletters, blog content, and learner success stories to support recruitment initiatives. Deliver engaging 121 consultations and group webinars to inform, inspire, and support prospective learners. Monitor campaign performance and learner acquisition metrics through analytics tools, using insights to inform and refine strategies. Independently build and sustain a network of referral partners, developed through self-initiated outreach and relationship management. Ensure recruitment data is accurately maintained and compliant with eligibility, safeguarding, GDPR, and funding regulations. Independently recruit self-funded learners to diversify enrolment streams and support overall recruitment goals. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between marketing efforts, course schedules, and capacity planning. Actively contribute to employer engagement strategies to develop partnerships that enhance recruitment efforts and support funding opportunities. Full ownership of learner recruitment targets, operating with a high level of autonomy to consistently meet deadlines and performance objectives.

Essential Requirements



Minimum 3 years' experience in learner or student recruitment, preferably within the training or FE sector. Minimum 3 years' experience in digital marketing with hands-on experience in paid campaigns and content development. Strong understanding of the adult education and skills training landscape. Ability to use CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Highly organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines and recruitment targets.

Desirable



Knowledge of WMCA or DfE funding requirements. Experience using Canva, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or equivalent. Awareness of safeguarding and data protection protocols in education.

Pay: 28,000.00-32,000.00 per year
