Learning And Development Tutor In Early Years Care
Job Description
We are recruiting a Learning and Development Tutor in Child Care, the role is home based with visits to our training centres to deliver face to face lessons as required and visits to settings delivering 1:1 or in groups. We are looking for someone who is located in easy access to our apprentices and their employers in the West Midlands area.
Our Tutors are required to deliver diplomas within some of our apprenticeship standards from level 2 to level 3 and apprenticeship standards to level 5 if suitably qualified.
Ideally we will require the Tutor to deliver and embed functional skills at level 2 English and maths, deliver the knowledge skills and behaviours and the wider curriculum.
We are looking for someone who has recent occupational experience in child care and preferably, has an assessor qualification, and has experience of delivering apprenticeships.
Overview of role requirements
Deliver diploma up to level 3
Deliver functional skills qualifications up to Level 2
To monitor progress and ensure timely completion of qualifications
To be able to plan and organise own workload
Ensure all digital paperwork is completed

Have the right to live and work in the UK indefinitely and without restriction
Desirable role requirements
Teaching Qualification - PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS. PGCE
. Able to deliver to level 5
Other Essential requirements
Applicants will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
Our hours of work are 36.5 and we offer a competitive salary. We offer 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays in year 1, increasing each year to 30 days plus Bank Holidays after completion of 5 years' service. We have an early finish on Friday.
