Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant -
Actual Salary: 17,678-19,029 approx per annum

30 hrs per week. Monday - Friday Term Time only.

9.00 - 3.00pm daily.

Start date: September 2025

Job role

We are very excited to offer the opportunity for an appropriately qualified, experienced and inspiring learning support assistant to join our new school which opened to pupils in the summer term 2022. The successful candidate will have a successful track record of supporting pupils with special educational needs within the secondary phase and ideally evidence of working with children with SEMH.

The school is increasing the number of students following the development of phase two of the school and with the opening of phase 3 in September 2024.

The Haven Wolston has been judged as good in all areas following an OFSTED inspection in March 2023.

About The Haven School Wolston

Our School is a new registered independent school which is situated in a beautiful rural location in the Warwickshire countryside. Our core aim is to offer a highly bespoke education to enhance the social and emotional wellbeing and life chances of vulnerable children who struggle in a mainstream educational setting. The School will have the capacity to cater for up to 40 students in the next academic year.

The School caters for pupils with SEMH, Autism and ADHD from a number of local authorities and schools and provide them will a highly specialist and individualised educational experience to allow them to overcome their barriers to learning. We are looking to appoint an individual who shares our unflinching commitment to providing the young people we will serve with the best possible future life chances.
