About this Role




We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our team here at Seathorne Primary Academy!




We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant to join us on a fixed term basis until the end of the academic year.


The appointed Learning Assistant will be a professional role model to the pupils, with the skills and confidence to challenge and motivate.


The role is Monday to Friday, from 8.45am to 12.45pm, term time only (39 weeks). Here at our Academy, we put the child at the centre of a caring, sharing and achieving school, where positive relationships are based on mutual trust and respect, and this is at the heart of everything we do.


For all school staff we aim to create a professional, working environment where staff are supported to be the best that they can be. We do this by working as part of Greenwood Academy Trust - this means we work with over 30 other schools who are part of our Trust, sharing expertise and developing best practice. We aim to provide appropriate training at all levels to ensure all staffs' practice develops over time. We ensure that workload and staff well-being are a priority, focusing our time and energy on things that make a difference to children's learning.
