This is an important role for both the Learning and Inclusion Team, and for the various visitor-facing teams at Stirling Castle. You will take on the coordination of learning visitors and learning spaces to provide an excellent experience for learners and support their varied needs. Your role will include booking learning visits, creating learning resources and assisting with educational programmes.

Key Responsibilities of this role
Assisting the Stirling Castle Learning Officer in co-ordinating, developing and delivering a learning programme for Stirling Castle that serves a variety of learners from nursery children to life-long learners, from site tours to object handling to costume and crafts. The role will include creating resources, delivering face-to-face sessions, either with the Learning Officer or alone, and booking and processing learner visits.

Excellent communication skills (written, oral and aural) to enable effective communication with learning visitors and colleagues, which sometimes needs to be achieved quickly within a busy environment.
Ability to work accurately and confidently with minimal supervision but also know when to seek assistance or escalate a matter.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to remain calm and work effectively within a busy, varied environment.
