Kettle Produce is one of the major suppliers of fresh and pre-packed vegetables in the UK. We are a dynamic and customer focused business and this new opportunity will play a pivotal role in the ongoing success of our business.

LAs an L&D Assistant, you will be at the heart of our people development journey. This is a hands-on role where you'll combine your technical knowledge of machinery and safety with a passion for helping others grow. You'll be responsible for welcoming new team members into the business through engaging induction programmes, ensuring they understand our values, safety standards, and operational processes from day one.

Your role will also involve conducting competency assessments to verify skills and compliance, supporting managers in identifying training needs and helping design practical learning solutions that make a real impact. You'll work closely with the L&D team to create a culture of continuous improvement, where safety and development go hand in hand.

Key Responsibilities



Deliver engaging induction sessions for new starters, ensuring they understand company values, safety standards, and operational processes. Conduct competency assessments to verify skills and compliance with safe operating procedures. Support the development and implementation of training plans to enhance workforce capability. Collaborate with managers and the L&D team to identify training needs and create solutions that drive performance. Maintain accurate training records and assist with reporting on progress and compliance.

What We're Looking For



Previous experience working with machinery and a strong knowledge of safeoperating procedures would be an advantage Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - able to engage and motivate learners. A passion for developing people and supporting their growth. Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 29,000.00-31,000.00 per year
