Location: Eastleigh , Hybrid & a requirement to commute to Folkstone

Learning & Development Officer: We're excited to offer three opportunities to join our dynamic Learning & Development team. This fast-paced department is passionate about supporting growth across the business and helping others learn.
As a Learning & Development Officer, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering engaging learning solutions. You'll support the development of new and existing employees through coaching, collaboration, and tailored training. The role offers variety across delivery, content creation, and presentation, while building skills in claims, project management, digital design, stakeholder engagement, and influencing.
We're looking for proactive, adaptable individuals who thrive in change and champion continuous learning.
Only candidates with a background and experience in Home Claims or Motor Claims will be considered for these roles
Main Responsibilities as a Learning & Development Officer:

  • Play a key part in the onboarding of new staff, welcoming them to the business and providing an engaging start to their careers with us in claims
  • Encourage growth, learning and development across the business.
  • Manage a portfolio of development projects ensuring delivery of appropriate learning solutions in a timely manner.
  • Deliver appropriate learning solutions to new and existing colleagues across all Ageas sites - travel to other sites will be r
  • Work in partnership with all L&D colleagues across all sites.
Skills and experience you need as Learning & Development Officer:
  • Strong knowledge, understanding and previous experience working within a claims environment is a must.
  • Creative ability to design and confidently create digital and physical learning solutions, from engaging PowerPoints to captivating video content.
  • Confidence in recommending learning and development materials and solutions to all our people in claims across varying work levels and responsibilities
  • Experience of coaching individuals and groups.
  • Understanding of how people learn and develop.
  • High level of spoken, written and presentation skills - in order to deliver training and product knowledge to others, at a level where it can be understood.
