Job Title: Learning & Development Specialist




Location: North West or Midlands - Remote (with national travel as required)




Salary:

35,000 per annum + Benefits (including Company Car or Car Allowance (subject to tax/NI)




Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00




Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time







Lookers L&D has a super exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our central L&D team.



This role will form an integral part of our Learning and Development function. In role you will proactively scope, design, deliver and evaluate solutions that supports the delivery of our people strategy. The overarching purpose of this role is to support individuals, managers and teams throughout our business to be the best they can be.



You will form part of the central L&D team and will work alongside other learning professionals who deliver learning and development services to the business.


Responsibilities




Scoping, designing, delivering, and evaluating development initiatives that are simple, relevant, engaging, and transferable through working collaboratively with senior leaders and subject matter experts. Creating and delivering development solutions that embed the Training and Competence scheme. Driving employee engagement by embedding Lookers' purpose, strategy, and values across L&D initiative to achieve our desired culture. Collaborating with HR peers to ensure learning initiatives are aligned to our group people strategy and objectives. Providing training, coaching and development support. Using a data driven approach to understand L&D opportunities. Providing onboarding, inductions, and development pathways for core roles. Managing L&D projects, utilising change management methodology and demonstrating value added to the business. Driving the utilisation of Manufacturer development offerings. Reviewing the L&D industry regularly for continuous innovation, ensuring best practice and maintaining links with professional bodies to ensure we have the most up to date development solutions, processes, and practices.
