About Health Academy

Health Academy is a leading provider of continuing professional development (CPD) courses for qualified healthcare professionals and placement support for healthcare students across the UK. We deliver high-quality training through engaging online and face-to-face sessions.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Registered Learning disability nurses to join our team as freelance Clinical Trainers and Student Facilitators

As a student Facilitator, you will:

Deliver interactive sessions to healthcare students on placement, supporting their learning and development.

Provide guidance and feedback to students on their clinical practice.

Liaise with university tutors and placement providers to ensure students receive the best possible learning experience.

Essential Requirements:

Current registration with a UK healthcare regulatory body (NMC)

Proven experience in a clinical setting withing LD.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Zoom and Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Commitment to delivering high-quality training and supporting student learning.

Desirable Requirements:

Experience in delivering training or facilitating learning.

A teaching qualification or relevant postgraduate qualification.
