We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their own homes, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, allowing them to maintain independence while receiving the care they need.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs as outlined in care plans.
Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
Administer medication as directed and monitor clients' health conditions.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes to the care team.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
Experience
Previous experience working with Autism L/D essential.
Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software.
A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients when necessary.
A caring attitude, patience, and the ability to work independently are essential traits for success in this role.
