The role




Orbit are delighted to announce that we are looking to recruit a Learning Lead, to join our L&D team on a 12 month FTC, to work on a vast array of upcoming projects, centred around our Everyday Excellence transformation programme.

As we navigate an ambitious transformation programme, this role plays a vital part in identifying skills gaps, building future capabilities, and equipping colleagues with the learning they need to succeed. The Learning Lead will partner with key stakeholders to deliver targeted learning pathways, map capability, and create impactful development interventions that support change readiness and transformation delivery.

What you'll achieve




Your key responsibilities will be to:

Act as the strategic learning partner to designated workstreams within the transformation programme. Lead the design and execution of learning strategies that directly support the delivery of programme objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to co-create role-specific capability maps, technical skills matrices, and learning pathways. Monitor the effectiveness and business impact of learning solutions and adapt based on feedback and data. Facilitate coaching and training initiatives where required to support project success.

What you'll bring



Essential skills:



Experience in learning design and delivery across complex, multi-stakeholder transformation projects. Understanding of skills gap analysis, capability frameworks, and role mapping. Proven ability to partner with stakeholders to co-create learning strategies that drive performance. Proficiency in blended learning design using a variety of tools and platforms. Ability to coach effectively, deliver feedback and advise on appropriate initiatives as a credible L&D expert.
