This is an actual salary for Term Time only of 22,364.24 per
annum. An allowance of 4,208.93 per annum is payable for the
Head of Year part of the role.

Thank you for your interest in applying to be a Learning Mentor and Head of Year at William Hulme's Grammar School (WHGS).
WHGS is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to support our students as a Learning Mentor and Head of Year. For the remainder of this academic year, it will Head of Year 8. You will work closely with our IMPACT Centre team to offer personalised learning for some of our most vulnerable students. Alongside this, you will take on responsibility for leading a year group to monitor and support the academic and personal wellbeing of every student, to ensure the personal, social and emotional development of students and to promote a culture of participation and achievement.
You must be able to work effectively as part of a supportive team, communicate confidently with staff members, parents and carers, and maintain a calm and consistent approach.
Essential qualifications: Minimum grade A-C or 9-4 in GCSE English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent), TA3/Level 3 qualification.
The role is full-time, term-time only.
