Hove Learning Federation is comprised of West Hove Infant School and Hove Junior School, serving over 1,000 children. We are seeking to appoint a Learning Mentor to join our friendly, professional Inclusion Team.
Ability to communicate effectively, and engage with pupils, parents and staff
Ability to liaise with the inclusion manager and class teacher effectively
Ability to work co-operatively and intuitively as part of our successful team
Be self-motivated and have a commitment to personal development
Experience of managing challenging behaviour
Be aware of best practice to support medical, social and communication needs of children
Be able to plan, monitor and assess the child's learning that is being supported
Contribute to the overall ethos / work / aims of the school
This role will be working with a variety of children with additional needs across different year groups within Key Stage 1 and 2.
Working days required - Thursdays and Fridays
Working times required -
8.30am to 3.30pm
Paid weeks per year
: 47.36 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)
