What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):

Empower & Inspire:

Deliver tailored, one-on-one mentorship that adapts to each child's individual needs, goals, and learning styles.

Build Essential Skills:

Provide targeted academic support (with a particular focus on Maths) and implement effective strategies to foster emotional regulation and positive behaviour.

Create & Collaborate:

Design engaging educational activities and work closely with a multi-disciplinary team--including parents, teachers, and specialists--to ensure a unified and comprehensive support network.

Drive Progress:

Utilise principles from frameworks like Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to encourage independence, track development, and provide clear, meaningful feedback to the child's support system.

What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):

Essential:

Proven expertise in behaviour management and supporting children's social-emotional development. A strong background in mentoring, tutoring, or early childhood care, with specific confidence in delivering Maths support. Exceptional patience, empathy, and the interpersonal skills needed to build trusting, positive relationships. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

A full, valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Highly Desirable:

A background or qualification in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field. Familiarity with speech and language therapy (SLT) techniques. Practical experience or formal training in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
