Mentor - Inspire, Support, Empower
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Mentor to provide individualised support to children, helping them build confidence, develop essential skills, and thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored mentoring, adapting to each child's learning style and needs.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to foster emotional well-being.
- Assist with academic tutoring, particularly in Maths, ensuring concepts are clearly understood.
- Design and facilitate engaging educational activities that align with developmental stages.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and professionals to create individualised support plans.
- Apply behavioural analysis techniques to encourage independence and growth.
- Monitor and document progress, providing regular feedback to parents and educators.
Skills & Qualifications:
? Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques
? Experience in early childhood care, particularly toddler care
? Background in special education or related fields (highly beneficial)
? Knowledge of speech therapy practices (an advantage)
? Familiarity with applied behaviour analysis principles
? Excellent mentoring skills, with a passion for educating and inspiring children
? Strong tutoring abilities, particularly in Maths
? Patience, empathy, and outstanding communication skills for building positive relationships
