Job Summary:

Do you have a passion for helping children thrive? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Learning Mentor to empower young learners, guiding them toward academic confidence and personal success. Key Responsibilities:



Design & Deliver Tailored Support:

Develop and implement individualised learning plans that adapt to each child's unique needs, learning style, and personal goals.

Build Academic & Emotional Skills:

Provide targeted academic assistance while implementing effective strategies to foster emotional regulation, positive behaviour, and self-reliance.

Partner with the Support Network:

Design engaging educational activities and collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team--including parents, teachers, and specialists--to ensure a unified and comprehensive support system.

Track, Adapt, & Report:

Systematically monitor and document progress, using principles from established frameworks like Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to encourage independence. Provide clear, consistent, and meaningful feedback to the child's entire support team.

What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):



Core Qualifications:



Proven experience in behaviour management and supporting the social-emotional development of children. Exceptional patience, empathy, and the interpersonal skill to build trusting, positive relationships. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to connect with children, parents, and professionals alike. A high degree of organisation, initiative, and self-motivation.

A full, valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.


Preferred Qualifications (What Makes You Stand Out):



A background, degree, or certification in Special Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field. Familiarity with speech and language therapy (SLT) concepts and techniques. Formal training or practical experience with Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles.

Pay: 510.00-530.00 per week
