Do you enjoy helping children learn and grow? We're looking for a caring and patient person to help kids build their confidence in school and in life. This isn't just a teaching job. It's a chance to support children one-on-one, help them overcome challenges, and be their guide to success.
What You Would Do:
Create Learning Plans:
Figure out the best way each child learns and make a plan just for them.
Help with School & Feelings:
Give extra help with schoolwork. You'll also teach them how to manage their feelings, behave well, and do things on their own.
Work as a Team:
Plan fun learning activities. You'll talk regularly with parents, teachers, and other helpers to make sure everyone is working together for the child.
Track Their Progress:
Keep simple notes on how the child is doing. You'll use proven methods (like ABA) to help them become more independent and share updates with their family and teachers.
What You Need to Have (The Must-Haves):
Experience helping children with their behavior and emotions.
Lots of patience, kindness, and an ability to build trust with kids.
You're a good communicator--able to talk clearly with children, parents, and other staff.
You're organized and can manage your own time well.
A full, valid UK driver's licence and your own car.
(This is required).
What's a Bonus (Nice-to-Haves):
A degree or training in Special Education, Psychology, or Child Development.
Knowing a bit about speech and language therapy (SLT).
Experience or training in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), which is a common way to help kids learn.
Ready to make a real difference in a child's life? We'd love to hear from you.
