This is more than a job - it's a chance to change lives.
Why Stable Futures?
Based on the rural West Berkshire/Hampshire border, Stable Futures offers therapeutic, nature-based, and animal-assisted education to children unable to access mainstream schooling due to social, emotional, or mental health (SEMH) challenges.

Equine-assisted learning
Animal care
Forest school and bushcraft
Horticulture, art, and life skills
PSHE, SEMH education, and alternative subjects like careers and well-being
Your Role:
Build strong, supportive relationships with young people
Lead engaging, bespoke sessions
Support emotional growth and resilience
Model healthy boundaries and positive behaviour
Work collaboratively in a trauma-informed team
You'll thrive in this role if you are:
Experienced with SEMH/SEN learners
Confident outdoors and around animals
Creative, adaptable, and calm under pressure
A great communicator with resilience and humour
Teaching qualifications (QTS/QTLS) are a bonus, but not essential if you have strong relevant experience.
