Learning Services Consultant / GIS Trainer

Location: Homebased (with some travel to Aylesbury and rest of UK)

Good basic salary (from \xc2\xa337k+ depending on experience) plus a generous bonus of up to 20% per annum

The Learning Services Consultant / ArcGIS Trainer role

  • Working in our friendly and supportive Learning Services Team, your key responsibilities will be to:
  • Help support customer success by developing our customers\' capabilities across the ArcGIS platform
  • Whilst most of our learning is currently virtual, you will need to be able to use a variety of training methods including classroom training, virtual training, one2one and other learning services.
  • Deliver our standard curriculum and author some bespoke course content too.
  • Work as a trusted advisor to the customer, undertaking Learning Needs Analysis and providing advice and guidance on tailor-made blended learning plans
  • Deliver virtual courses (and classroom if required) plus eLearning modules to individuals and teams.
This would be a career move if you:
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of ArcGIS Pro (essential) and ideally ArcGIS Online
  • Have some training experience, either formal or informal training carried out as part of your role
  • Experience of working in a customer focussed environment would be beneficial
  • Have (or be willing to work to achieve) CompTIA CTT+, TAP Accreditation and IITT Affiliation or membership.
  • Like to work independently, dealing with and resolving complex situations in a flexible manner.
  • Are a great communicator and presenter.
  • Can prioritise and work to fixed deadlines.
  • Are entitled to work in the UK and happy to undergo security clearances (essential).
The location - You can be home-based, but you will need to be happy and able to travel to Aylesbury for your induction and regular team meetings. Whilst most of our courses and training is currently delivered online, some are delivered face to face, so you will need to be prepared and able to travel within the UK and Ireland to deliver training should it be required.
