Learning Support Assistant

Are you committed, caring and organised? Do you have experience in supporting children with a range of needs in a voluntary or paid capacity? Are you adaptable and able to think on your feet?
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work with our children, within a friendly, warm and caring school. You will be supporting children in class as well as individuals/groups of children.
Whether you are an experienced Learning Support Assistant and want to gain experience or, have experience working with children in a variety of settings in a paid or voluntary capacity and feel that now if the time to enter a career in education, you are welcome to apply.
We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference and has the following attributes:relates well to both children and adults is committed to enabling children to do their best is motivated, hardworking and has good time management skills has a calm and positive approach can support the teacher in the delivery of a varied and exciting curriculum helping with resources, records and administration can guide and enthuse pupils in their learning without over supporting shows initiative and flexibility enjoys helping children play have a good sense of humour and helps others feel at ease has an understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
