Join our dedicated team at Cranbrook School as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) and make a meaningful impact on the educational journey of a pupil with Autistic Spectrum Condition and ADHD. We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable individual who possesses a strong understanding of additional educational needs and has relevant experience in an educational environment. Applications are especially encouraged from candidates with prior experience in supporting students with Autistic Spectrum Condition or ADHD.
As an LSA, you will play a crucial role in fostering inclusive education, helping the student to engage with the curriculum, participate in the wider school community, and achieve their full potential.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills, along with resilience, initiative, flexibility, a sense of humour, and the ability to connect with children.
This is a flexible position offering 15 hours per week during school hours, with the possibility of additional hours for small group work for the right candidate.
Please note that this position is contingent upon the student remaining on the school roll and continuing to receive additional funding support. The role is term-time only, plus one week of Inset.
