Job Details

Salary: 12.49 - 12.68 per hour



Contract Type: Permanent, term time only



Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 8.35 - 3.15 (1/2 hour lunch break)



Location: Birchwood Grove CP School



Interviews: Monday 21st July 2025

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team at Birchwood Grove CP School. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our children, particularly those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).



To be successful in this role you will need to:


Passionate and enthusiastic about working with children and developing their learning Able to provide 1:1 support to children with SEND, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential Able to work with smaller groups and within a whole-class setting to support learning and development Collaborative and can work with the class teacher and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children A good communicator with children, parents/carers, staff, and other professionals Able to demonstrate a calm and positive mind-set, solution-focused approach and the ability to stay calm in all situations Keen to work as part of a team but also show good initiative to lead learning Positive in your outlook and flexible in your approach
