Learning Support Assistant

Hamp Academy is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team on a part-time, permanent contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting families, strengthening relationships, and helping children thrive in their learning and development.

The Role

We are seeking a caring, committed, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with teachers to support pupils with a range of learning needs, helping them to engage in learning and develop independence. This role includes lunchtime supervision and will be based within our SEND class/group, working with children who have EHCPs.

Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils in accessing learning activities and achieving their goals Assist with individual education and behaviour plans Promote inclusion, self-esteem, and independence Provide feedback to pupils and teachers on progress Support classroom activities, including ICT and intervention programmes Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and equality policies
