This is a unique and extremely exciting opportunity to be a part of a truly outstanding provision where pupils with specific needs genuinely excel. As a specialist provision, we are looking for staff who are committed to meeting the complex and holistic needs of young people with Communication and Interaction needs so that they can reach their full academic and personal potential at Castle EAST.
You will not necessarily need to have experience of working in a provision for pupils with special needs, irrespective of your experience, training will be fully provided and form part of the school induction process for all staff. Castle EAST School is looking to appoint an outstanding practitioner with a passion for supporting pupils to achieve their best, both in and out of the classroom.
It is important to understand that support staff will be supporting pupils across the three Key Stages and within a range of subjects across the curriculum. This is something that we will very openly discuss with applicant during the interview process.
