A welcoming and supportive secondary school in Hastings is seeking a dedicated

English Teacher

to join their team. This is a

Monday to Friday

role, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, offering the opportunity to make a real difference in students' learning and development. The school is committed to fostering a collaborative and encouraging environment where staff can thrive professionally while inspiring young learners.

The ideal candidate will:

Be passionate about engaging students in English and helping them achieve their full potential. Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills. Be committed to working as part of a supportive and professional team.

Role Requirements:

Experience teaching English at the secondary level. Hold a

DBS on the update service

or be willing to obtain one prior to starting. Deliver engaging and effective English lessons across the secondary curriculum. Plan, prepare, and assess students' work to support their academic progress. Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students. Contribute to the development of teaching resources and school initiatives. Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure a high standard of education and pastoral care.
