Learning Support Assistant to support Quality First Teaching and provide 1:1 support for children with SEND



15 hours per week (Monday to Friday) 08:50-11:50am. Term Time Only (38 working weeks) Required from as soon as possible Actual pro-rated salary range: 8,387-8,519 based on Grade 15 Point 3-4 with a full-time equivalent salary 24,795-25,185per annum This post will be ongoing subject to continued funding and the supported student remaining on roll.

St Bartholomew's CofE Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated

Learning Support Assistant

to work alongside our EYFS class team. The successful candidate will help provide a stable, caring, stimulating, and supportive learning environment for children within EYFS/ Yr 1, including those with additional needs.

The core purpose of this role is to work closely with the class teacher to support children with additional needs, ensuring they are fully engaged in their learning and making sustained progress. The role also involves promoting the child's independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion through both 1:1 and small group sessions.
