We are seeking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Dr Challoner's Grammar School.



This is a permanent role, up to 35 hours per week, term time.

About the role





The successful candidate will provide support for students with Special Educational Needs, in particular students who have barriers to learning caused by Autistic Spectrum conditions, ADHD and other neurodiversities.


About you





Some experience working with young people is required, although not necessarily in a school environment.



An interest in and/or experience of working with young people with Special Educational Needs would be advantageous, as would experience of supporting young people as they experience dysregulation.



You should have good communication skills, be competent in the use of IT, and be well organised.
