We are looking for a passionate, talented, collegiate practitioner to join our dedicated primary team at King's Academy Binfield and King's Academy Oakwood. The successful candidate will be part of a team of Learning Support Assistants led by our Head of Primary and Deputy Heads.

Our new Learning Support Assistant will support students within the classroom and our Specialist Resource Provision (The Mosaic) for Autistic children, work with small groups and offer 1:1 support when needed.

Experience of working with students with Speech and Language difficulties, specific learning difficulties and ASD would be a distinct advantage.

They will share the academy's vision and the belief that all young people can achieve. Other necessary qualities include confidentiality, efficiency and being able to work on your own initiative and under pressure. There is an expectation of a willingness to contribute to the wider life of King's Academy Binfield (KAB) and King's Academy Oakwood (KAO).

Hours

The post is for 33.75 hours per week (term time only plus 2 days). Hours of work will be 8.15am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Salary

KGA/PCC Band 1, Points 1-2. FTE 23,473pa to 23,656pa pro rata plus 706pa Outer London Fringe, pro rata.

Actual salary is 18,746pa - 18,888pa gross (inc. of OLF)

Start date: 1st September 2025
