Your Main Responsibilities
Support pupils with a range of learning needs to access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
Work alongside teachers to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated learning activities.
Provide one-to-one, small group, and whole-class support.
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive attitudes to learning.
Assist with classroom preparation and adapt resources as needed.
Promote inclusion, wellbeing, and positive behaviour in line with school policies.
Monitor progress and share feedback to aid planning and assessment.
Support pupils' social and emotional development.
Supervise pupils during breaks, lunchtimes, and school trips where required.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times.
About You :
We are looking for someone who has:
A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
Good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and encourage learners.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet a variety of needs.
Commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing.
Desirable:
Previous experience working with children or young people.
Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
