ASAPWe are seeking a caring, resilient, and motivated
Learning Support Assistant
to join our Primary Alternative Provision team. This role involves providing1:1 and small group support
for pupils who require additional help to engage with learning and develop socially and emotionally.Key Responsibilities:
Provide
1:1 support
for pupils with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs Support pupils to access the curriculum in a safe, nurturing environment Work closely with class teachers and external professionals Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Assist with personalised learning plans and behaviour strategiesThe Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with
primary-aged children
, ideally in alternative provision or SEND settings Be patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships Be confident supporting children withchallenging behaviour
Have good communication and teamwork skills Be committed to safeguarding and inclusionWe Offer:
