Learning Support Assistant


Kedington Primary Academy


Contract: 15 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. Fixed-term until 31.03.2026.


Salary: Grade 2-3, SP 2-6 (FTE: 24,414 - 25,989 / Actual: 8,275 - 8,809 per annum) depending on experience.



Kedington Primary Academy is a friendly one-form entry primary school located close to Haverhill and part of the Unity Schools Partnership.


We are seeking an excellent learning support assistant to join our team. The post will be a mixture of general classroom support and support for individual children, working 8.30am - 12.15pm Monday to Thursday.


We are looking for someone who:

is calm, positive and patient will support our trauma informed schools approach is passionate about supporting every child to achieve has the interpersonal skills to develop positive and supportive relationships with children, colleagues and parents is able to use their own initiative and can 'think on their feet' is efficient and organised has experience working with children with special educational needs
