What the role involves in a nutshell:




Work under the direction, guidance, and supervision of the SENCO and classroom teacher to support access to learning for students

Take responsibility for delivering specific learning activities and interventions, helping to implement individual learning plans in line with the overall teaching strategy.

Deliver targeted interventions, both within the classroom and in small group or 1:1 settings outside the classroom environment.

Use your specialist knowledge in SEMH to support pupils' emotional and behavioural development, helping them to overcome barriers to learning.

Deliver SEMH-related training and guidance to the wider learning support team to promote and support our students emotional wellbeing
