Westminster Academy is seeking to grow our team and appoint a number of dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant, high-performing, and values-driven secondary school that places student success and well-being at the heart of everything we do.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) department to support students with additional learning needs--helping them access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. You will assist in-class, deliver targeted interventions, and contribute to the wider life of the school.

We are looking for someone who:



Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills Is compassionate, patient, and committed to inclusive education Can work collaboratively as part of a dynamic and supportive team Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and a proactive attitude Has high expectations for all learners and is reflective in practice Can remain calm and focused under pressure Experience supporting students with SEND or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential

The working basis for this position Term Time + 1 week inset (Monday to Friday 8.15am-4.30pm, 37.5 hours per week).
