The Role
We are seeking a
Learning Assistant
to support teaching and learning across the school, with a focus on children who may have additional needs, including mild SEN.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, helping them engage with learning and develop confidence.
Assist the class teacher in creating a positive, structured environment where all children can succeed.
Support children with social, emotional, and communication needs using patience and proactive strategies.
Promote the school's values of kindness, respect, and resilience in every interaction.
What We're Looking For
Experience working in a primary school setting (SEN experience desirable).
A caring, adaptable individual who can build strong relationships with children and staff.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to inclusive education.
Ability to encourage curiosity and independence in learning.
