The role could involve a blend of one day per week providing LSA support at the student's home, with the remaining support delivered in school for part of the day.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
to work with a student showing traits of
ASD and ADHD
. This role requires someone with proven
SEN experience
, strong relationship-building skills, and the confidence to work both
in school
and
at home
.
What We're Looking For
Experience working in school environments
(highly preferred)
Strong understanding of
ASD and ADHD
, with an empathetic and structured approach.
Someone able to
build rapport
by connecting with the student's interests, particularly
sport
and
chess
.
Comfortable supporting learning
at home
, maintaining boundaries and consistency.
Ability to teach core primary subjects is a
bonus
Ideal Candidate
Calm, patient, and adaptable
Confident working across different environments
Skilled at supporting emotional regulation and engagement
Positive and proactive in their approach to SEN support
Rate
30-35 per hour
, depending on experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 30.00-35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
Work Location: In person
