The Role



As a

Learning Support Assistant

, you will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider pastoral team to support a Year 4 pupil on a

1:1 basis

. The pupil requires structured support to manage behaviour, remain engaged in learning, and reduce classroom disruption within this

Primary School

setting.

Daily Duties Will Include:



Providing

1:1 support

for a Year 4 pupil with

ADHD

Implementing behaviour strategies and positive reinforcement plans Supporting emotional regulation and social interaction Actively engaging the pupil in learning activities across the curriculum Managing and reducing classroom disruptions through effective

behavior management

Working collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO Adapting learning materials to suit the pupil's needs Encouraging independence while maintaining consistent boundaries Supervising the pupil during transitions, break times, and activities Recording observations and contributing to progress reviews
