Job Description

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant - Maths to join our Slough and Langley team. This is a part-time, permanent position, requiring 15 hours a week, specifically spread over four afternoons, Monday to Thursday. As this role is term-time only, you will work 37 weeks of the year, providing focused support to our students. Your commitment during these afternoons will play a crucial role in helping our learners succeed in their mathematical studies, making a significant impact during your concentrated hours each week.

Learning Support Assistant - Maths

In this role you will enable students to access the mathematics curriculum as fully as possible, supporting them to work towards their desired outcomes, achieving their learning goals and potential.


Working in a team under the direction and supervision of the Curriculum Director, Programme Manager and Lecturers you will assist with teaching, learning and associated activities in accordance with college policies, procedures and individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP). This may include supporting whole classes; working with individuals and small groups of learners; assisting with planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities; working closely with pastoral and welfare staff in supporting students to overcome learning, physical or emotional boundaries.
