Salary:

SEND Learning Support Assistant Grade 3/4 (depending on experience) 24,796 - 25,989 pro rata. 28.75 hours per week, Term time only.


Contract Type:

Fixed term



Working Pattern:

Monday - Friday, 8.35 am - 3.20 pm. Initially fixed term to the end of the academic year, 22/07/26, with the possibility of extending based on funding.

What You Need to Succeed



We seek an experienced, enthusiastic learning support assistant, preferably with experience of working with children with additional needs.


The successful candidate will:




Support individual children with emotional, physical or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills. To support children so that they may learn as effectively as possible and to help them achieve to the best of their ability. Contribute to behaviour plans and targets of support for identified children and deliver specific interventions as directed by the SENCO. Under the direction of the class teacher, implement strategies for teaching and learning for individuals and groups of students, taking into account their specific needs. To assist individual children with identified learning difficulties in completing curricular tasks and learning activities devised, directed and evaluated by the Class Teacher/SENCO. Be familiar with lessons plans, individual learning plans (ILPs) and learning objectives. Provide support for students by encouraging and modelling positive behaviour.
